According to Hemptoday.net, Recent figures show hemp cultivation in the USA fell to 107,702 acres in 2022, from 511,442 in 2019. Of course there is little guidance coming from the FDA, DEA, USDA in the USA, so what’s an industry to do? Now add in the fact that hemp will be allowed to have even more THC, the intoxicating cannabinoid, than the original .3%, and the fact that the chemists have figured a way for Delta 8 derived from Hemp can get you high…so who needs the “Federally Illegal” plant right? Wrong.
Hemp is a unique plant that can be used in a multitude of ways that do not involve recreation, or medicinal use. Morris Beegle is the man when it comes to hemp in the US. He runs events like the Southern Hemp Expo, Publishes Let’s Talk Hemp, and is the President of WAFBA, We Are For Better Alternatives. He even shows off his hemp made guitar on Green Rush Live this past Friday with PCM Founder Jimmy Young
