Since 2008, July has been recognized by Congress as Black, Indigenous and People of Color Mental Health Month. At Barry, we honor this month by acknowledging the unique mental health challenges faced by historically oppressed communities in our nation. We recognize the need for mental health services and systems to serve our diverse communities and provide culturally competent care. This July, we continue the work of supporting BIPOC communities by supporting racial justice measures and making information about and access to mental healthcare more accessible.
