Live Panel Discussion on the Way Forward for the Cannabis Industry – 3rd June 2024

31st May, 2024 – In 2018, the CARICOM Commission published a report from its national
consultations: “Waiting to Exhale, where guidelines were given regarding a cautious

approach by member states named “Safeguarding our Future through Responsible Socio-
Legal Policy on Marijuana.”.

The Government of Grenada acknowledges the growing interestin cannabis decriminalisation.
In this regard, the Cannabis Committee is building on efforts to create a deeper public
understanding of its role and mission, based on its mandate to deliver a draft policy on the
way forward for the cannabis industry to Cabinet by September 2024.
