🥦Easy Broccoli Pasta Recipe🥦
*Full transparency, I have never made a recipe for this🤣 I have never measured anything so all of these amounts are approximate🤪 Feel free to alter to fit your taste🧂

🥦Ingredients:

-Dry pasta, any kind. I use gluten free
-Fresh or frozen broccoli. If fresh, steam slightly first. If frozen, prepare according to package (You can add all the veggies you would like, I use whatever I have)
-Fresh or precut garlic: Minced
-Italian Seasoning: Several tablespoons
-Crushed red Pepper: I use at least a teaspoon
-Olive Oil: Several tablespoons
-Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water
-Salt and pepper to taste
-Parmesan Cheese (Also optional, I used Vegan from Trader Joes)
-Fresh basil (optional)

STEP ONE: Prepare pasta according to package. Reserve at least 1/2 cup of the remaining pasta water and set aside. Drain pasta. Set aside.

STEP TWO: On medium heat ring your large sauté pan with Olive Oil. Generally about 3-4 tablespoons. Add your garlic and crushed red pepper. Sauté for a few minutes but don’t allow it to burn. Add your broccoli, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. I use a lot of Italian seasoning! So add as much or as little as you would like. Sauté until the broccoli is cooked to your liking.

STEP THREE: Add the cooked pasta into the pan with the broccoli. Add more italian seasoning, salt, an/or pepper to taste. Pour pasta water over the top. Stir all ingredients well. Continue to cook/stir until all the pasta and broccoli is coated well. If it seems too dry add more pasta water or more olive oil.

STEP FOUR: Serve while hot and top with parmesan cheese and chopped basil (optional)
