On Tuesday, July 19, the Denver Department of Excise and Licenses held a public marijuana industry check-in meeting. Excise and Licenses staff presented general updates, discussed the launch of the social equity technical assistance program and announced the proposal of a bill being sent to City Council. The proposed bill would replace the three-year exclusivity period with permanent exclusivity for transporters to conduct deliveries for Denver stores and significantly reduce fees for transporter licenses and delivery permits.
