Healthcare and Wellness Management at CMMU is specifically designed to develop outstanding entrepreneurs and leaders in the healthcare and wellness industries. This program is a collaboration between Siriraj hospital, Ramathiboodi hospital and the College of Management, Mahidol University that will bridge the gap between medical/technical experts with business and management knowledge. Students will be equipped with two sets of knowledge, attitudes and skills necessary for success in business in the near future. These two sets of knowledge are business concepts and a holistic view of the health & wellness industry. Throughout the program, HWM provides an understanding of the entire picture of the healthcare and wellness systems, contexts and trends, including increased healthcare expenditures globally, medical & wellness tourism, aging societies, healthcare policy, regulation, and payment systems.
The HWM program’s mission aims at providing existing & future healthcare professionals the business knowledge & leadership skills necessary to make significant improvements in the quality & efficiency of care delivery in an ever changing industry. The program is designed to develop outstanding leaders in healthcare & wellness industries, in collaboration with leading practitioners, to elevate managerial skills at both industry and corporate levels. At the big picture level, the courses provide an understanding of the entire picture of healthcare systems, health policy, key players, and health payment systems. Throughout the program, we also offer exceptional knowledge in managing healthcare and wellness organizations, especially managing different professionals with various approaches to achieve effective results while maintaining good relationships within the companies and within the supply chain.
