This meditation will slowly guide you into a connection to the mind and body with the breath and give you enough time to adjust back into the present moment. This is a great beginning meditation for this workshop as we should ease into anything new we introduce into our lives. Throughout the week the meditations will grow longer. This is just a way to set the pace for the week ahead.
When we focus on our breath alone, we allow the body to enter a state of relaxation; within this relaxation, the thoughts begin to slow. This slowing down of the mind generally takes about fifteen
minutes.
This is the beginning stage of entering a deeper relaxation state. This is where we will begin with the workshop. Allowing your thoughts to lessen and your focus to flow to the breath.
