Michigan saw a monthly uptick in cannabis sales during July, according to new data released by the state’s cannabis regulatory agency.
Total sales for the month rose 6.1% to $275.7 million.
According to MiTechNews, the increase puts Michigan on pace to bring in $3 billion in cannabis sales for the year.
The increase was driven primarily by adult-use recreational cannabis, which accounted for $270 million.
At the same time, medical cannabis sales in the state declined slightly.
Michigan retailers have sold more than 571,000 pounds of cannabis flower so far this year.
