Ms. Sharon Gordon interviews key players and attendees at the launch event for Start Right, A Maternal & Newborn Care Initiative from Jamaica’s Ministry Of Health & Wellness. Done in collaboration with American Friends Of Jamaica (AFJ) and the JAHJAH Foundation; Jamaica Pegasus Hotel, Kingston, Monday January 16, 2023. This launch event was incorporated into day one of JAHJAH Foundation’s 15th annual two-day Ultrasound Conference. ❤️🇯🇲

American Friends Of Jamaica donated 24 Butterfly IQ (ultrasound) probes along with 24 iPads to Jamaica’s Ministry Of Health & Wellness. The Butterfly IQ probes and the iPads work together to deliver roving high resolution ultrasound readings. The majority of the devices will be used in Jamaica under a new maternal health initiative, by the Ministry Of Health & Wellness, that is called Start Right. The rest of the devices will be used in emergency rooms in Jamaica’s public hospitals. ❤️🇯🇲
