My Guide To Thailand – JSHealth

So many of you have been asking for my Thailand recommendations, as we always have such a special time! Dean and I have been going to Thailand almost every year since we met and it’s such a special place for us. It holds so many beautiful memories. We even got married there!

We just love it – the people, food, culture and energy of the place is infectious. A trip to Thailand is a real holiday! We stay in Phuket and it’s by far our favourite places in the world.

Here are my tips on where to stay, what to do and (of course) where to eat.

Love Jess x

Where to Stay

We always go to Phuket.

Le Meridien – Truly the most beautiful beach we have been to. We have been staying at the same place for almost a decade. It is low key/not luxurious and the rooms are old (transparently).  However it is truly the best, most relaxing spot.

As I say, we really just go for the beach, where you will usually find us relaxing and enjoying from 9am-9pm – no lie! The staff, food, location and energy is spot on.

AMANPURI or The Surin – If you want luxury, these are the places.

Where to Eat

Fancy: Baan Rim Pa – This is such an establishment. Go here for Thai food with a view, just near Patong.

Authentic: Number 6 – Low key, authentic hole in the wall (street food vibe!) – and simply the best food.

Delicious: Buabok – Incredible Thai restaurant in the Aman Hotel – very upscale.

What to Do

Catch Beach Club – Visit here for a fun afternoon. I definitely recommend a visit to this stunning and vibrant beach club. It’s fun to enjoy a cocktail, music and dance.

Patong Markets at Night – Enjoy walking around, a massage and street food experience.

Karon Beach + Surin Beach – These are the most beautiful beaches to swim.
