NeuroTX (CEO Kim Dong-joo) participated in CES 2024 held in Las Vegas from January 9 to 12.
NeuroTX specializes in autonomous nervous system regulation technology using artificial intelligence (AI) in electronic medicine. The company is developing medical devices for managing symptoms of the autonomic nervous system and a wellness platform in the form of consumer electronics. To achieve this, NeuroTX continues extensive research and development collaboration with major domestic hospitals and neuroscience research institutes.
NeuroTX’s technology is focused on customizing functionality to stimulate the release of specific neurotransmitters and activate the anti-inflammatory pathway according to each patient’s needs. The company claims that this approach can address a variety of neurological and psychiatric disorders, ranging from sleep disorders to acquired brain injuries and early stages of neurodegeneration.
At CES 2024, NeuroTX showcased its wellness device, ‘SleepAid-P.’ This product provides customized sleep management features using onboard sensors and neurofeedback machine learning (ML) technology to monitor and analyze user movements and physiological states during sleep.
SleepAid-P enables users to effortlessly utilize periodic sleep management functions based on the collected data. The device uses this data to deliver personalized stimuli to the user’s autonomic nervous system. This not only promotes safe and effective sleep but also enhances the overall quality of sleep. Additionally, the wearable patch design minimizes discomfort during use.
A NeuroTX representative stated, “CES allowed us to meet many more global companies than expected, allowing us to discuss future collaboration and business development plans. It was a valuable opportunity to realistically assess the potential for overseas market entry, and we are thrilled to have created an opportunity for our leap to a global company.”
The representative continued, “We have gained insights to refine our technology from multinational companies that have unveiled distinctive technologies and products in the sleep tech and wellness sectors. NeuroTX promises to accumulate these new and meaningful experiences, using them as fuel for continuous development.”
