Research: Dog love reduces pain.

According to a new study conducted in the USA, it has been announced that dogs are medically beneficial to patients. In the study, it was stated that patients who spent 10 minutes with dogs experienced less pain than those who did not.

In a new study conducted in the USA, it was revealed that dogs are effective in reducing the pain of people who are sick.

In the published study, it was reported that people suffering from pain in the emergency room were found to have less pain 10 minutes after they spent time with dogs.

Stating that the findings of the study support the thesis of dog lovers that “love of dogs cures all diseases”, One Health and Wellness research head and lead author Colleen Dell said, “There is research showing that pets are an important part of our health in different ways. They motivate us, they stand up. They lift us up, their routines give us the human-animal bond.”

In the study, published in the journal PLOS One, more than 200 patients in the emergency room were asked to report their pain levels on a scale of 1 to 10, while some patients brought dogs.

While those who spent 10 minutes with the dogs and those who did not were asked to specify their pain thresholds, it was determined that the first group had less pain.

Jessica Chubak, senior researcher at the Kaiser Permanente Washington Health Research Institute, said the study had a strong methodology.

“The results of the study are promising,” said Chubak, who was not involved in the research, noting that there is still much to learn about therapy dogs.
