SBV IDY 2020: Health and Wellness in Senior Citizens in times of COVID 19 by Dr Meena, DD, CYTER



Consequent to the decision of the United Nations on 11 December, 2014 and with the support of 177 nations, the first International Day of Yoga was celebrated on 21 June, 2015.

As per guidelines issued by UGC and Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, the 6th International Day of Yoga (IDY 2020) will be celebrated at Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth, Pondicherry in a grand manner from 18-20 June 2020 with a “Three Day International Webinar on “Role of Yoga in times of COVID 19”

The event will be inaugurated by the Hon’le Vice Chancellor of SBV Prof SC Parija who will deliver the Inaugural Address. Eminent International Yoga Experts such as Dr Stephan Parker (Stomaji), USA, Lori Rubestein Fazzio, LMU, USA, Matthew Taylor, Smart Safe Yoga, USA and Yogacharini Kalavathi Devi, Om Yoga Studio, UK have agreed to be resource persons for this 3 day webinar which will be conducted by CYTER of SBV in collaboration with Indian yoga Association, New Delhi, India, Loyola Marymount University, USA, Om Yoga Studio, UK, Smart Safe Yoga, USA and Ananda Ashram (ICYER), Pondicherry, India.
