Johns Hopkins To Follow ‘Nationally Representative Cohort’ Of 10,000 MJ Patients In Fed Funded Study

Researchers at Johns Hopkins are following a “nationally representative cohort” of 10,000 patients who have used marijuana for medical purposes to better understand the health effects.

This massive study is funded by the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), and is the first of its kind. The goal of the study is to improve our understanding of the long-term safety and efficacy of marijuana as a treatment for serious medical conditions.
