Bhujangasana or Cobra pose resembles snake’s head raising position. ‘Bhujanga’ means ‘snake’ in sanskrit. Its very effective asana to cure many diseases and to awaken the kundalini energy, which is situated at the base of spine.
In this video, Shri Manoj Kannan explains, how to perform cobra pose :
1. Lie on the stomach and keep your palms to the sides of shoulders.
2. Slightly raise the head while inhaling, slowly raising torso and see up.
3. While exhaling, bring torso and head down and relax.
4. Repeat the posture for 5 rounds daily in empty stomach.
5. Bhujangasana relaxes the spine and makes flexible. Cures lower back pain, removes weakness, relaxes shoulders, chest, heart, lungs, tones abdomen, rejuvenates the spine for free flow of prana and improves blood circulation.
