Steve Bevan (President) has more than 20 years experience in compliant investment sales/finance. Steve’s impact at GenCanna™ has been felt on multiple levels from it’s foundational startup in Kentucky. Steve’s basic approach to leading GenCanna’s hemp industry stewardship has provided great positioning in hemp legislation, regulation, and compliance by facilitating a working relationship with the Kentucky Department of Agriculture (KDA), the Kentucky State Police (KSP), and Kentucky’s federal leadership including Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell. Under Steve, GCG has helped lead the nascent hemp industry by serving as founding Secretary of the US Hemp Roundtable, and has advised on legislative and regulatory issues across the world. Steve works tirelessly with grassroots activists, regulators, lawmakers, and law enforcement alike to develop key industry standards and practices that have helped legalize the manufacture, research, and sale of cannabis-based products.
