Jhon Cadiz Carandang whose real name is Fernando Cadiz Carandang, Jr., MA. Psy, RPsy, CDR is a licensed psychologist and a certified clinical dementia rating assessor from the Washington University School of Medicine, Knightโs Alzheimerโs Research Center, St. Louis, Missouri, USA,(Trained via Online) and once a Psychological First Aider trained at the American Red Cross Training Services, USA (Trained via Online) and he finished his Masters of Arts in Psychology from the University of Santo Tomas. Jhon is also a former religious brother from the Alagad ni Maria Seminary
Jhon worked as a Guidance Counselor, Psychometrician for Pre-school and Primary School for 3 years. He also worked as an Associate Professor in Psychology for 15 years. At present, He is the CEO/Founder of the Carandang Institute (a mental health service provider) , and a consulting psychologist of Skyline Hospital, Camarin Doctors Hospital,Psy Systems and Innovation, RCW Foundation Inc., Love Institute, Catholink and healthlink
Previously, he worked as a guest lecturer in Holy Angel University – Graduate School and a part-time lecturer at the Our Lady of Fatima University-Pampanga Campus and the University of Santo Tomas, Maryhill School of Theology, Colegio De San Gabriel Arcangel and City of Malabon University
Aside from this, Jhon appeared in several tv and radio networks such as CNN Philippines, Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho and On Record (GMA7), TV Maria, Veritas 846,Teleradyo, UNTV, PTV4, News5, OnePh, I to I Confessions (YES FM) DZBB DZRH, Abante Online as a resource person.
Jhon was part of the Star Magic Face-off as a resident psychologist and the FPJโs Ang Probinsyano as an episode reviewer.
He is also giving webinars, pieces of training, lectures, seminars, and symposia on different topics such as Mental Health, Behavioral and Emotional Issues, and other Psychological Interventions to various educational and church institutions. And lastly, he is Motivational Speaker, Secular Franciscan Brother (Candidate), and a Vlogger.
