2. Cardio exercise can improve blood circulation and reduce inflammation in the lungs. If you haven’t been doing much cardio lately, try walking for 20 minutes a day or taking the stairs instead of the elevator.
3. Add vitamin D-rich foods such as salmon, eggs, spinach, kale, and fortified milk into your diet every day to help boost immune function and protect against infections like pneumonia or influenza.
4. Staying hydrated by drinking plenty of water will also keep your immune system strong so that it can fight off any infections.
5. Exposure to pollutants and irritants like air pollution, dust, and chemical fumes can harm the lungs. Avoid pollutants and protect your respiratory system
