I was surprised!…
When I first started learning about sugar I was shocked at how bad it deteriorated your body.
So I started reading labels and then something even more shocking happened!
I found sugar in salt packets at restaurants. I found sugar in my canned tomatoes and green beans. I found sugar in foods that I would have never expected.
Of course there is sugar in soda and candy bars, but why in a packet labeled “salt”.
Reading labels is critically important. I can’t encourage it enough. Sugar is labeled under over 250 different names, so look for words with “ose” at the end of them. (Ex. Sucrose, glucose, fructose, etc…)
