Washington Today (8-4-23): 187K jobs created in July, unemployment rate drops to 3.5%



Labor Department says the U.S. created 187,000 jobs in July, below expectations, but the unemployment rate falls from 3.6% to 3.5% and wage growth is faster than inflation.
