🚴‍♂️ Together We Ride. Together We Heal.
Each week, Forgotten Not Gone (#FNG) partners with U.S. Vets Las Vegas for Wellness Wednesday, a powerful outreach that combines fitness, veteran peer support, and the fight to stomping out veteran suicide.
This week, we didn’t just hit our 22-mile goal in honor of the 22 Veterans who were dying daily – we crushed it with an epic 24 miles of GAINS! Our Veterans rode Catrike Dumont E-Trikes – the premier custom trikes in our adaptive sports fleet, empowering them to conquer both physical and mental hills. Every mile ridden brought them closer to reclaiming their lives with strength and purpose.
🛑 The Journey Highlights:
– Pit Stop 1: Bathroom break and smoothies at Rachel’s CafĂ©, refueling for the climb ahead.
– Centennial Parkway Turnaround: âś… Looking out over the Las Vegas Valley from the Centennial Parkway turnaround point, they felt the pride of how far they’d come – both on the trail and in their lives.
– Post-Ride Recovery: Through the “Share a Meal with a Veteran” initiative, My Garage Kitchen has proudly fed over 100 Veteran Trike Brigade Trike Commandoes this year. This is not a soup kitchen however Veteran Trike Brigade Riders ate FREE!
